The raised rate of public workers is clear: Here is the strongest estimate! :

The raised rate of public workers is clear: Here is the strongest forecast.
Public Collective Year 2023, which concerns more than 700 thousand workers working in public institutions and organizations, including highways, railways, special provincial administrations, sugar factories, power generation plants, ministries hospitals and universities, as well as the Departments of Education and Defence.
The process continues in the negotiations for the Framework Protocol on Employment Contracts.
The increase in public employees was mentioned by Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labour and Social Security. So, what will be the new salary of public workers who do not accept the second offer? Economist Muhammet Bayram, who made statements on the subject, used the following expressions. “700 thousand public workers have their eyes on the agreement to be made. Here, public workers had demanded a base wage of 15,000, a 45 per cent increase, and an inflation difference in the 6th six months plus 5 per cent.
'WE EXPECT THE RESULTS TO BE INCREASED ANOTHER THAN 12 THOUSAND LIRA'
The offer from the state in the first place started from 11 thousand liras, now it has increased to 12 thousand liras. In the end, we expect this to be finalized with a little increase.
Here again, I think the bargain will be concluded with a figure between 12 thousand TL and 15 thousand TL. I think a base fee of around 13 thousand liras will be tied.
' IT WILL BE AN EXAMPLE OF OFFICERS' COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT NEGOTIATIONS :
There were demands for a further increase in the amount paid under the name of social balance compensation. We believe that these demands will be fulfilled. On August 1, civil servants will have collective bargaining negotiations.
Seeing collective agreements for 700 thousand of public workers will set an example for other collective agreement negotiations.
'45 PERCENT INCREASE IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS WILL BE REASONABLE' :
In fact, inflation will be high in the first 6 months and will decrease in the next 6 months. Therefore, I think a 45 per cent increase in the first 6 months would be reasonable.
I think that the public workers can accept the increase, but this level will finally be decided on the table.”
WHAT DID THE MINISTER SAY?
The increase in public employees was mentioned by Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labour and Social Security. Bilgin said in his statement: " For the first time in the history of the Republic, we made the minimum wage above $455 in dollar terms. As you know, annual inflation is at 42 per cent, and it continues to fall. It will decrease, but prices are still high. There are wages destroyed by this high price. We have to regulate those wages. "
IT ALSO INTERESTS OTHER CONTRACTS CLOSELY :
Conversely, the 7th Term Collective Bargaining negotiations, which will cover the years 2024-2025 and determine the rate of increase in the salaries of approximately 3.5 million civil servants and 2.5 million retired civil servants, will begin on August 1.
In this regard, the 2023 Public Collective Bargaining Agreement Framework Protocol, which concerns public employees, is equally significant in terms of setting the frameworks of collective bargaining agreements to be inked in the private sector, particularly the civil servants' collective agreement.
